About WNC Pilots Association

Purpose - The purpose of the WNCPA is to promote General Aviation through monthly meetings that emphasize flying safety, ongoing education related to flying and to provide opportunities to exchange information with flying enthusiasts across a wide spectrum of flying experience. Guest speakers, videos and discussions by CFI's and CFII's are the primary vehicles used to support this purpose. Occasionally, flying trips to aviation museums and other aviation points of interest are arranged by Club members. The Club is non-profit and our activities are supported almost entirely by annual dues.
Meetings - Our meetings take place at the O.D. "Lacy" Griffin building, Asheville Airport. Entry via the general Aviation entrance ( just north of the terminal) off route 280. We meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month starting with a light dinner at 6:15pm, following by the general meeting at 7pm.
All flying enthusiasts are invited! You do not have to own an airplane or be a pilot.
Club Dues - The Club's dues are paid annually during the month of January and are presently $20.00 per person. There are no charges for guests, but spouses who attend regularly are asked to join the Club. The Christmas Dinner is charged separately and usually runs between $25 and $40 per person depending on facility and entertainment. Guests are always welcome to the Club's Christmas Dinner.
